My god, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is still !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I want it. I shouldn’t, probably, but holy shit do I want it.
The wide-open ITBs seem like a terrible idea, and how in the world this thing is tuned without an intake and MAF is a bit of a mystery, but other than those red flags if you’re going to build a hodgepodge of BMW parts, this is about as good as it gets. It’s impossible to judge how much this thing should cost, which makes the current “no price listed, make me an offer, lowballers will be ignored” ad kind of mystifying...how do you know if you’re lowballing if there’s no asking price? I mean, OK, I get that this thing is worth more than, like, 10 grand, but beyond that, who knows?

Asking $27,500 according to the BAT link.

The ecu has an Alpha N tune, so it can run without the maf’s or o2 sensors... Just not as efficiently, and with presumably less performance. I suspect that is probably what is going on here, but I didn’t look very hard at it yet...

I want it too.
I saw this the last time you posted it and I wanted it then.

Normally don’t like things like this, but that’s a nice build. Price is way too high. My comment is the same as always - unless it’s really special you should not settle for 90s level safety. But that’s just me.

Pretty ridiculous to ask E30 M3 prices for your Frankenstein’s Monster project.

I don’t remember posting it before, but it is definitely the sort of thing I would post, so I believe you.

Definitely CP at that price, but that was back in July...I’m wondering how motivated the seller might be six months later.

Probably not very. He has something unique and he probably “knows what he’s got .” Relatively unmolested sedans of this vintage are selling well below $10k. This seller hasn’t learned that modifications don’t increase the price of the car.

I think at 20k and literally any other color and I’d be at my bank signing papers for a loan.

This guy originally posted his build on Instagram, it’s really half assed. I don’t remember his name anymore.
The back doors are just paneled over, gauges don’t work and it barely runs

I’m sure you’re right. The E46 powertrain is worth something too, but the combination can’t plausibly add up to more than the some of its parts.

Sadly, these days that’s an E30 M3 price only if the E30 M3 doesn’t have an engine, or something.

At 20k, in this color, if it wasn’t such a bodge (see 4kc’s comment below), I would be doing inadvisable things to my 401(k). I love the BMW purples.

It looks like a good build but there does appear to be some things that need sorted.
